R asheeda gunned the motor and charged the door. ” she yelled. Kimo ducked, his arms around his head, bracing himself against the 29 dashboard. They hit the metal door with an enormous crash. In spite of the seat belt, Kimo’s arms slammed painfully against the dashboard. Then he rebounded—hard—against the seat. Now there was a huge dent in the door, and daylight showed through the top and sides of the beautiful new SUV.

You will be punished and—” “We’re not your puppets! ” Kimo yelled desperately, trying to drown out Dieous’ voice.
